Congressman Walter Reeves went all out at the 1900 Republican State Convention in Illinois. This impressive delegate badge with a shell piece picturing Reeves includes a 10-inch ribbon with Whitehead and Hoag label on back. The convention was held in Peoria on May 8, 1900. Reeves failed to get the nomination but he certainly was in the running for best-looking ribbon. Excellent.
