Mickey Owen was a major league catcher and coach who played for a number of teams during his 13-year career. After his playing days ended, Owen turned to politics. He was elected sheriff of Greene County, Missouri, in 1964 and served as sheriff until 1981. This 2 1/4 inch litho baseball pin is an Owen for sheriff item with a few minor nicks.
