Warren G. Harding scheduled a West Coast tour in July of 1923 to drum up political support. If he would have known what was going to happen, he likely would have stayed home. Harding became ill on the trip and died in San Francisco on Aug. 2, 1923. This 1 1/4 inch celluloid has some faint edge spots as often is the case with this pin.
