Admiral Robert Peary made international headlines when he made it to the North Pole in 1909 – well, at least he thought he made it there. What he actually did is still up to debate, but whatever happened his journey inspired this beautiful 1 1/4 inch celluloid with Bastian Brothers back paper. Peary was accompanied by right-hand man Matthew Henson, the first African-American polar explorer. Excellent condition.
