McGovern WW II B-24 Bomber Pin

Rare George McGovern B-24 bomber pin made for members of the McGovern Staff. This 2 inch pinback is made in the shape of the plane McGovern flew during World War II. He flew 35 combat missions during the wear. Historian Stephen Ambrose has noted, McGovern probably the greatest hero of World War II in terms of action and dangerous fighting but that was not part of his 1972 campaign. First time we've been able to offer this rare McGovern item. A great item from Eavenson collection. Excellent condition.
