A scarce booklet that tells the life story and beliefs of Lyndon Johnson, made for the 1948 election. This was the controversial disputed election that went all the way to the Supreme Court. LBJ beat Coke Stevenson in the Democratic primary by 87 votes and earned the nickname “Landslide Lyndon.” The 3 1/4 by 4 3/4 inch, 20 page booklet has a cartoon format and has a water stain on the back.
