The Poor People’s Campaign of 1968 was organized by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the Southern Christian Leadership Conference. After King’s death, the SCLC worked to keep the project alive. This handbill was a part of that effort. It pictures King and promotes an appearance by Hosea Williams, campaign field director of the SCLC, at Wrigley Field in Los Angeles on May 26, 1968. This 8 1/2 by 11 inch flyer is in excellent condition.
