This 64-page, 5 1/2 by 9 inch booklet features the report of Reverdy Johnson, commissioner in New Orleans, into the conduct of Gen. Benjamin Butler, who was the Union general in charge of the city at the time. . It was sent to the US Senate in December of 1862 by President Abraham Lincoln and printed in January of 1863. Very good condition with minor wear on spine.
