The College Young Democrats Club of America pushed the Great Society with this 1966 pin. It pictures Lyndon Johnson, Hubert Humphrey and ... thanks to Peter Economou, we know the third person is Thomas McGrath, a one-term Congressman from NJ 2nd Congressional District. He was elected in 1964 but was defeated by Charles Sandman in 1966. The pin is a rare 3 1/2 inch celluloid, some faint background mottling. It’s the first one we’ve seen in a long, long time in fact we believe it is only the second of these pins that we have ever offered.
