A really rare press item from the 1960 John F. Kennedy campaign. This 5 1/2 inch cardboard badge was made for photographer Marion Trikosko of U.S. News and World Report. Back of badge has a single word: “Press.” Trikosko started as a photographer with the magazine in 1957 and worked there for 28 years. In an interesting side story, he spent two years of his early life traveling with Dante the Magician and later wrote a well-received book about his life. This badge also has the word “Craigville” penciled in, Craigville is a village on Cape Cod.
