John Glenn was an instant hero in 1962 when he became the first American astronaut to orbit the Earth. This rare 6 inch celluloid was made by Manny Ress to proclaim Glenn as New Frontier Man of the Year. We have never seen this pin in 6 inch size until this one showed up in the possession of the Ress family. That makes it an exceptionally rare item. If anyone has seen this 6" badge before or has it in their collection, please let us know and we will include that information. Few faint spots.
