James M. Cox was a journalist first and a politician second. In fact, one historian said, “He was a newspaperman at heart. His newspaper was his mechanism to do right. Politics fit in, but the newspaper really was his baby.” After losing the 1920 election, Cox went back to journalism, building a nationwide empire. This 1 1/4 inch celluloid is a rare Cox picture pin with nice photo of Cox. Does he look like he’s thinking about votes or the next story? Excellent condition.
