An impressive 1 3/4 inch celluloid picturing one of the most elusive of all 20th century major party candidates, James M. Cox of Dayton, Ohio. This beautiful and rare pin still has original Whitehead and Hoag back paper. Cox was the founder of a newspaper empire and served three terms as governor of Ohio before losing the 1920 presidential election. This is a very attractive Cox item in excellent condition.
