We suppose this is a warning to voters: sure, you like Ike, but in the end you might end up with Dick. That’s Richard Nixon, of course, who was Dwight Eisenhower’s vice president. Ike’s time in office included some health scares. This 2 1/8 inch celluloid has a little added comment etched onto it. If you look closely, you may be able to see where the pin’s owner lightly scratched a “D” after the work “Like,” so he could read it as “Ike You Liked, Dick You’ll Get.”
