Horace Greeley certainly was one of the most eccentric and tragic of all presidential candidates. During the 1872 election year, Greeley’s wife died, he lost control of his newspaper, he had a nervous breakdown and then died. Think about that before you decide to run for president. This is 3/4 inch clipback missing its original stickpin picturing Greeley with a glass cover on front. Excellent condition. A very reasonable minimum to get it started.
