Dwight Eisenhower grew up in Abilene, Kansas, and always considered it his home town. So you can imagine how proud the people of Kansas were when he was elected president. This inaugural badge proves it. The 3 inch Kansas sunflower celluloid made by the Philadelphia Badge Co. is attached to a ribbon made for the 42nd Inaugural held on Jan. 20, 1953. Excellent condition.
