Utah is a pretty conservative place but that didn’t stop Jimmy Carter’s supporters from coming up with this creative campaign pin. It’s a scarce 3 inch celluloid with its own special artwork proclaiming “Profits for Peanuts.” It didn’t help much at the polls – Carter lost Utah big in both 1976 and 1980 – but it is a winner with collectors. Excellent.
