The cardinal turned up as a symbol on campaign pins for both Harry Byrd of Virginia and Robert Byrd of West Virginia. One of our collector friends has informed us that this particular pin is from Harry Byrd's final campaign for the U.S. Senate in 1976. This 1 inch litho is in excellent condition.
