Abolitionist Stephen Symonds Foster was the author of this anti-slavery 1844 booklet. Published by the Boston Anti-Slavery Office, this 72-page booklet attacks “Manstealer” President John Tyler as well as taking on the American church and clergy. The 4 1/4 by 6 3/4 inch booklet shows some wear, still in very good shape.
