Joseph Brinkman came from the Wiedemann Brewery to what was to become the Wooden Shoe Brewery Co. in Minster, Ohio, in 1884. He took over as brewmaster in 1898 and had a legendary brewing career. This 1 1/4 inch celluloid pictures Brinkman with an appropriately giant glass of beer. By the way, you can still visit the Wooden Shoe Inn in Minster, a small Ohio town famous for its beer. Excellent.
