“Arizona Charlie” is pictured on this rare May 19, 1901 celluloid pin. Charlie Meadows was a cowboy who worked for Buffalo Bill and later founded Arizona Charlie’s Wild West Show. Charlie also spent time in the Canadian gold rush, tried to buy an island off the coast of Mexico to find lost treasure and ended up as a cattle rancher. A true character on a rare pin with Whitehead and Hoag back paper, excellent condition.
