A very colorful Alton Parker lucky horseshoe pin. This 1 1/4 inch celluloid features vivid colors and has a Torsch and Franz back paper. Parker had a farm in New York so he would know about horseshoes, although he apparently was more fond of pigs – he had trained, pet pigs who would do tricks for visitors. Excellent condition.
