The book “All Quiet on the Western Front” by Erich Maria Remarque became a legendary and Academy Award winning Best Picture movie in 1930 starring Lew Ayres and Louis Wolheim. This scarce 1 1/4 inch celluloid was made to promote the movie. Hitler realized the anti-war message of the film and book, so that both were banned in Nazi Germany. It has some spots, but is a very scarce item.
