Alf Landon thought he had a chance to topple Franklin Roosevelt in the 1936 election. This poster was part of the effort that ended up falling far short of expectations. It’s a 12 by 15 inch framed poster with great photo of the Kansas governor. It also includes a quote by Landon: “That leadership along the trail which we have loved long since, and lost a while, has come to us again.” Excellent.
