Alton Parker Uncle Sam Celluloid

Uncle Sam shows his appreciation for Alton Parker on this beautiful 1 1/4 inch celluloid. Everybody’s favorite uncle holds a portrait of Parker while sitting astride an eagle – a gymnastic feat of no small proportions. This pin is from the Al Anderson collection and has a Whitehead and Hoag back paper. The original on this pin had a Baltimore Badge back paper; we think this one is a repin -- original paper that was made into a pin at a later date. Excellent condition.
