Zachary Taylor Snuff Box

Zachary Taylor rode his Mexican-American War heroics all the way to the White House. This snuff box is a very scarce 3 1/2 inch Taylor item. It has some crazing as is the case with most of these old snuff boxes. It reads: “Old Rough and Ready, the Hero of the War With Mexico” and spells out his name under the portrait.
