This ultra rare Al Smith jugate from 1928 is from the Al Anderson collection. Like its Hoover mate also in this auction, this is the only one like it we’ve seen. It certainly is the first time both of these pins have been offered in the same auction. It’s a 3 1/2 inch celluloid with safety pin back. Beautiful design, sharp images, bright colors and as rare as they come – this pin and its Hoover mate are the chance of a lifetime. Excellent condition.
