A striking and very scarce 7/8 inch celluloid from 1924 picturing Democratic candidate John W. Davis. It took 103 ballots for the Democrats to nominate Davis in 1924, still a record. And he doesn’t even look tired on this pin! Instead, he is strikes a pose as a calm and distinguished attorney, which is exactly what he was. A very scarce and very attractive Davis campaign button in excellent condition.
