Next year marks the 100th anniversary of James M. Cox’s nomination for president. Back in 1920, that was big news in Dayton, Ohio, Cox’s hometown. When Notification Day was held on Aug. 7, 1920, 80,000 people turned out at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds to celebrate. This scarce 1 1/4 inch celluloid and attached ribbon from that big day is in excellent condition. M.C. Lilley back paper.
