Lemke and O’Brien 1936 Union Party
William Lemke and Thomas O’Brien made up the presidential ticket for the Union Party in 1936. The Union Party was the successor to Huey Long’s Share the Wealth Movement, which was led by Francis Townsend, Father Charles Coughlin and Gerald L.K. Smith after Long’s assassination in 1935. This 7/8-inch celluloid has a St. Louis Button Co. back paper.
