Franklin Roosevelt was assistant secretary of the Navy in 1914 when he decided to run for U.S. senator. His New York campaign came up short – he finished third in the Democratic primary. This rare 7/8 inch celluloid is a special FDR pre-presidential pin from that 1914 election. It pictures a young FDR, has Whitehead and Hoag back paper, excellent.
