Newspaper publisher William Randolph Hearst had a lot of power but what he really wanted was to be president. This 3 1/2 by 5 1/2 inch postcard from 1908 pictures the journalism magnate with the words, “Willie Hearst: I’ll Run or Burst.” He never made it to the White House but he compensated by getting into movies and building the Hearst Castle in San Simeon.
