William McKinley took a big step toward the White House when he was elected governor of Ohio in 1891. This scarce ribbon picturing McKinley is from that campaign. He defeated James Campbell in 1891 and then was re-elected in 1893. The ribbon is a 7 inch item from the Bill Bowen collection in excellent condition.
