Warren Harding’s beloved dog Laddie Boy became a celebrity during his stay in the White House. This metal statue was created by artist Elizabeth Swaffield in 1921. It pictures Laddie Boy holding a copy of the Marion Star with the words “Protecting Our President” imprinted on the base. Laddie Boy is 5 by 6 3/4 inches, excellent condition.
