Votes for Women New Jersey 1914

The crusade to win the right to vote for women didn’t advance without some setbacks. This rare celluloid pin is a 1914 item from New Jersey. Women in that state would have to wait until after the passage of the 19th Amendment in 1919 to see their state agree to give them the right to vote. This 1 inch celluloid has a Women’s Political Union of New Jersey back paper and is in excellent condition.
