In October of 1915, 25,000 women marched in the streets of New York to demand approval of women’s right to vote in the state. The issue failed that year, but the massive demonstration helped set the stage for passage of women’s suffrage in New York two years later. This 1 1/4 inch celluloid has a Women’s Political Union of New York city back paper and is in excellent condition.
