The suffrage trumpeter sounds her call on this classic and rare 1 1/4 inch Votes for Women pin. Harriot Stanton Blatch founded the Equality League of Self-Supporting Women in 1906. That group later became the Women’s Political Union, which had this celluloid made. The WPU was the sponsor of the first great women’s march in New York in 1910. This pin has WPU back paper, 10 star design, excellent condition.
