Singer and comedian Dennis Day, famous for his association with Jack Benny, is pictured on this Sahara casino promotional button from the 1950s. The 1 1/2 inch celluloid pictures Day with symbols of Democrats Adlai Stevenson and Estes Kefauver – shoes, coonskin cap, fishing rod. Since Day was a Republican who publicly supported Eisenhower, we can only assume the props were a part of his comedy routine. A rare 1950s pin in excellent condition. Consignor lowered minimum bid.
