A rare Illinois pin from the Bob Rouse collection. This 7/8 inch celluloid pictures V.V. Barnes, this first judge in the city of Zion, a utopian religious community founded in Illinois in 1900 that outlawed politicians, doctors, alcohol, tobacco, dancing, oysters, spitting and other vices. The pin has some very faint edge spots. Whitehead and Hoag back paper.
