Uncle Sam looks with admiration at Admiral George Dewey on this exceptionally rare presidential hopeful campaign. For a while, Dewey’s name was high on the list for potential presidential candidates after the Spanish-American War, but he decided against running and finished out his career in the Navy. This 1 1/2 inch celluloid with Chapin’s Novelty back paper has been in Al Anderson’s collection for many years; first time we’ve offered it. A special item for cause and presidential hopeful collectors. Excellent condition.
