This pin comes before the days when Republicans became red and Democrats became blue. It’s a 1 1/4 inch celluloid from 1948 for Harry Truman picturing a red Democratic donkey. There also is a blue version of this pin so you can cover both colors. It’s in excellent condition. We have had this pin six times in fifteen years. It brought over $2,000 in its first appearance and never less than $440 since.
