A highly sought-after pin picturing the youthful Harry Truman running for Eastern Court District Judge in Missouri. Truman was elected to the Jackson County position in 1922, lost it in 1924 and sold cars for two years before making his comeback and winning the county presiding judge seat in 1926. So this pin was at the beginning of Truman’s long political march to the White House. It’s a 7/8 inch celluloid and a must-have item for any great collection. It has sold for more than $3,000 in three separate occasions in our auctions in the past. A classic Truman pre-presidential pin in excellent condition.
