Advertising executive Frederick Ziv coined the slogan “The Freshest Thing in Town” for the Rubel Bakery in Cincinnati. The little boy with derby became so popular that he had a syndicated radio show and was featured on billboards all over by Blue Seal Bread and other products. This 1 1/4 inch celluloid is in excellent condition and has a Irvine and Jachens of San Francisco back paper.
