That’s Robert Taft, U.S. senator from Ohio known as “Mr. Republican.” Taft was the son of William Howard Taft and was a GOP presidential hopeful in the 1940s and in 1952, but never got the nomination. This 1 3/4 inch celluloid is a very unusual Taft presidential pin. Excellent condition.
