Four years can make a big difference. In 1908, William Howard Taft and James Sherman were riding high after an overwhelming victory over William Jennings Bryan. In 1912, everything was different. Taft would end up finishing third in the Electoral College in the 1912 election behind Woodrow Wilson and Theodore Roosevelt. Things were even worse for Sherman, who died the week before the election. This 1 3/4 inch celluloid with Shaw back paper is from that fateful campaign. Excellent condition.
