William Howard Taft and James “Sunny Jim” Sherman on a 1 1/4 inch celluloid jugate with very colorful border. Sherman was an interesting vice president: first to fly in an airplane, first to throw out a first pitch at a baseball game and the last VP to die in office – he died of Bright’s Disease at his home in Utica, N.Y., one week before the 1912 election. Pin has a Bastian Brothers back paper and is in excellent condition.
