One of the truly great American campaign pins. This is the legendary Taft-Sherman Elephant Ears 1 1/4 inch celluloid from 1908. A spectacular design on a pin that has retained its bright red color and still has original Whitehead and Hoag back paper. This one comes from the Ned Ruhstaller collection, so you know it is in tip-top shape. One of the “must-have” pins for any great collection, excellent condition.
