“Sunny Jim” Rolph was inaugurated governor of California in 1931. This scarce 1 inch celluloid was made for the governor’s “Inaugural Fiesta.” Rolph had been mayor of San Francisco for 20 years before becoming governor. He died in office in 1934. Pin has a Sleeper Stamp Co. of Sacramento back paper, excellent condition.
