World Amateur Softball Championships 1937 Chicago 2 1/4 inch celluloid, excellent condition. This was just the fourth time the Women's World Series of Softball was held. The name in the window of the pin is a known woman softballer Val Clinton on the V-8s, which were a Chicago women's softball team who were national runners-up the year before. The games were held at Soldier Field in Chicago. A rare sports pin from the early days of organized women's softball, which was growing exponentially in popularity at the time.
