Snohomish County was named for the largest Native American tribe in the northwestern part of Washington. Apparently, it’s the Indian word for “lowland people” since they lived near Puget Sound. The county shows up on this scarce 2 1/4 inch Walter Mondale celluloid from the Norm Eavenson Collection. Excellent condition.
